Does BIOTONE test products on animals?
No, absolutely not. BIOTONE does not test products on animals, nor does it use any animal ingredients in its cremes, lotions, oil blends, exfoliators, and other body care products.
Is there a shelf life for BIOTONE products?
Yes. BIOTONE aromatherapy products have a maximum shelf life of 24 months, and most can be safely frozen and thawed. BIOTONE spa products have a shelf life of between 8 and 24 months, depending on the product. All spa products can be frozen without issue. BIOTONE massage products have a maximum shelf life of between 12 and 18 months, and most can be stored in a freezer until ready for use.
Are BIOTONE products FDA approved?
No, BIOTONE products have not been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Massage oils typically fall outside of FDA jurisdiction because they are not ingested internally or used for strictly medicinal purposes.
Are BIOTONE products safe for expecting mothers?
Expecting mothers, nursing mothers, and women attempting to become pregnant should avoid arnica, which is present in some BIOTONE products. However, the hypo-allergenic Advanced Therapy selection of products is an excellent option for expecting mothers, as are several BIOTONE organic cremes and lotions.
